Remembering Mr. Troyer

July 14, 2015
We would like to welcome all students, parents, and teachers to stop by Holy Cross for a few minutes this Thursday from 9:30 – 12:30 to write memories of Mr. Troyer.  We will have the art room open and provide strips of construction paper to write a memory.  The strips will be put together to make a paper chain that will be displayed at the rosary and wake at church on Friday from 7-9 pm at the Holy Cross Church.
Mr. Troyer’s funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 am at St. Patrick’s 806 Cherry St Kansas City, MO 64106 (CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS), a church he helped build and renovate. The burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery (CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS) near 85th and Quivira.
Additionally, our school counselor, Terri Nicholson, will be available to visit during that time.
You should have received an email for a Sign Up Genius.  The Sign Up Genius is to provide food for the funeral luncheon. If you didn’t receive that email, please contact the office if you wish to contribute.

We have scheduled two school cleanups. We are looking for volunteers who can help us with trimming the hedges, raking, pulling weeds, hauling trash, etc. The dates and times for the clean-ups are:

Monday, April 6th from 11 AM to 3 PM: Pizza will be provided by the Fathers club for all of the volunteers.

Saturday April 18th 8 AM to 12 PM: Lunch will be provided by Mom’s Club for all volunteers.

Kids are welcome as we can always find a job for them! Please bring your own tools if you think we will need them. Don’t forget your gloves! Please let me know if you have any questions, you can also text me at 816-645-9105. Hope to see you there!
