from Holy Cross technology teacher, Mrs. Mason –

Fifth Grade Technology Classes have just completed the “Be An Architect” project.

Using the Kid Pix drawing program, students drew a house with the shape tools.  They labeled at least 5 different geometric shapes using the text tool, changed patterns and colors of the shapes, and added other features such as stamps, stickers and animated graphics for interest and creativity.

A local architect firm selected  1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each class.

The winners from Ms. Byrne’s class were:

  • 1st Place – Will Thompson
  • 2nd Place – Christine Pham
  • 3rd Place – Alex Beverlin

The winners from Mrs. Neuburger’s class were:

  • 1st Place – Julia Swayne
  • 2nd Place- Lauren Long
  • 3rd Place – Isaiah Gavin.

Congratulations to all students in Fifth Grade for their amazing efforts!
