Take Charge of Education

July 25, 2012

Do you ever shop at Target?

If you answered ‘Yes’, consider signing up for their Target REDcard to help you save money and help raise money for Holy Cross School at the same time!

The card is free to use. It is a VISA® card, but can be used just as your Target storecard, if you prefer.  You save 5% on every purchase that you make at Target with the REDcard, and it qualifies you for free shipping for online Target purchases (no minimum purchase.)

At the same time, 1% of your Target purchases made with the REDcard is donated to the school you designate when you sign up for the card. (Please designate Holy Cross Catholic School in Overland Park!)

Those percentages can really add up, particularly at this back-to-school time of year!

In August 2011, Target donated $808 to Holy Cross from this Take Charge of Education / REDcard program. This year, we’re on target to receive $857.  That amount is generated from the current 40 REDcard holders who have designated Holy Cross.

Imagine how much could be raised
if more people were using the program!

Visit Target.com for more information.
It’s an easy program to use,
and YOU reap some great rewards for taking part.
