February 16, 2012Dear Families and Friends of Holy Cross Catholic School,

Second semester is in full swing. It almost feels as if spring is in the air as the Lenten season arrives next week. The rainforest is spring up in the 4th grade hallway… lots of fun.
Last week I made a clay bowl in art class with the 8th grade students. While a few girls and I were working at the pottery wheel, the other students were making baskets. I had so much fun working with the students! Holy Cross has wonderful students and teachers!
Today we dismiss at noon for second semester conferences. Tomorrow there is no school for the students as the faculty and staff at Holy Cross participates in School of Faith, and No School for the student on Monday as the faculty and staff will be participating in teacher in-service.
Have a wonderful, long weekend! Glod Bless all of you.
NO SCHOOL FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 17 and MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20.
SCHOOL RESUMES ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21.
Peace Friends,
Dr. Bobbie Beverlin

Sunday’s Gospel

Mark 2: 1-12
When Jesus returned to Capernaum after some days<
it became known that he was at home.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,
“Child, your sins are forgiven.”
“Why does this man speak that way?
He is blaspheming. Who but God alone can forgive sins?”
