Newsletter in a Nutshell | Feb. 10, 2012
February 10, 2012Dear Families and Friends of Holy Cross Catholic School,

February is in full swing and schedules are filling up quickly. Celebration, Catholic Schools Week, Open House, oh my! In all of the hustle and bustle, please remember to register your child for Holy Cross Catholic School for the
2012-2013 school year. Early bird registration ends on Valentine’s Day- February 14th.
We are holding applications from non-current families until March 1st, so even if you cannot turn your registration papers in by the 14th please make sure they are turned in by March 1st. There are some grade levels that have no space left and we are holding applications from non-current families for those grade levels.
This is good news!! We want new families, but we also want to ensure that our current families are enrolled before we start accepting new families! We love our Holy Cross Families!
The weather is supposed to turn colder and I am hearing rumblings that winter might arrive… We shall see. If the weather should turn bad and school gets cancelled, we will be using School Reach to contact families and remember we are listed on news stations as Johnson/Wyandotte County Catholic Schools.
Bundle up, stay warm, and enjoy your weekend.
Peace Friends,
Dr. Bobbie Beverlin

Sunday’s Gospel
February 12, 2012
Mark 1: 40-45
A leper came to Jesus and
kneeling down begged him and said,
If you wish, you can make me clean.”
Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand,
touched him and said to him,
“I do will it. Be made clean.”
The leprosy left him immediately,
and he was made clean.
Then, warning him sternly,
he dismissed him at once.
